New Feature: Food Tracking & Nutrition Analysis

Fitrockr has expanded its research and healthcare platform with a dedicated Food Tracking & Nutrition Analysis module. This feature is designed specifically for clinical studies, corporate health programs, and professional coaching, bridging the gap between subjective dietary reporting and objective physiological data.

Here is a summary of the new capabilities:

Direct In-App Logging

Participants can now log their meals directly within the Fitrockr mobile app (available on iOS and Android). This eliminates the friction of using third-party apps like MyFitnessPal ensuring that all data remains within a single, secure environment.

▶︎ Ease of Use: Simplified food search and logging to improve participant compliance.

▶︎ Real-time Monitoring: Authorized staff can view dietary entries immediately as they are logged.

Integrated Data Analysis

The standout feature is the correlation between nutrition and sensor data. Fitrockr maps dietary intake against high-resolution wearable metrics (e.g., Garmin, Apple, Oura) to provide a holistic view of health.

▶︎ Biometric Overlay: Analyze how specific meals or caloric intake affect Heart Rate Variability (HRV), sleep quality, stress levels, and recovery (Body Battery).

▶︎ Unified Exports: Researchers can export combined datasets (XLS, CSV, JSON) that sync food intake timestamps with physiological raw data for advanced statistical modeling.

Comprehensive Nutrient Tracking

The module tracks a wide range of nutritional values to support clinical-grade assessment:

▶︎ Macros & Micros: Automated calculation of calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fats.

▶︎ 138 nutrition categories.
