FITROCKR respects your right to privacy and shares your concern about the security of any data you may submit to FITROCKR via FITROCKR’s websites, apps, APIs and related services (in the following just called FITROCKR). The following statement (the “Privacy Policy”) discloses the guidelines FITROCKR has established for protecting the information you provide to FITROCKR.
If you do not agree with the Privacy Policy, do not download, register with, or use FITROCKR. By downloading, registering with, or using FITROCKR, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on FITROCKR and hold certain information. We do not use cookies to sell or track behavior. We use cookies purely to store session information and security information. At any time, you can instruct your browser to refuse cookies or tracking technologies. However, this could restrict the use of FITROCKR.
Information We Collect
Depending on the product used and project specific configuration, we will collect personal information about you when you register or connect your fitness tracker with FITROCKR, such as your first and last name, email address, profile picture, year of birth, gender, country, height, weight and detailed fitness activity and health data as recorded and provided by your fitness tracker.
Visibility of Personal Data
If you are participating in a research study, you are using the Research & Analytics product. In this case, your personal information will only be accessible by authorized study members and Fitrockr support staff.
If your coach is using FITROCKR to track your activity and health data, you are using the Coaching product. In this case, your personal information will only be accessible by your coach(es) and Fitrockr support staff.
If you are participating in online fitness challenges, you are using the Fitness Gamification product. In this case, FITROCKR will differentiate between “public”, “community” and “personal” visibility of data. Public Visibility refers to the interface that can be seen without registration. Fitrockr does not publish any personal data in that area. Community Visibility refers to data that is visible to registered and loged in members. This includes personal data such as your profile picture, name, country, used fitness tracker, ranking within leagues, activity data such as points (daily, average, highest), ranking (per season and Leaderboard) and last synchronization of your fitness tracker. Personal Visibility refers to data which can only be seen by yourself. This includes all data from the community area as well as email address, gender, timezone, year of birth, height and weight, metabolic rate, amount of daily points, steps and distance.
How we use Information
If you are using the Fitness Gamification product, FITROCKR will use your data to provide you with your daily progress, rankings, challenges and competitions you are participating in. We also use your personal data to communicate with you about your account, inquiries, our company, as well as to send you newsletters and notifications. You may remove your name from our email list by updating your profile in the account section or by emailing support@fitrockr.com.
