Fitrockr Introduces Push Notification Creation and Triggering via API
Fitrockr has just unveiled a powerful new feature: the ability to create and trigger push notifications through its API. This feature allows researchers to better engage with users in real-time.
Why Push Notifications?
Push notifications have become a cornerstone for user engagement. Whether it’s reminding users to wear their wearable, sync data, charge a device or task them to do a project or research related task. So far, researchers could create and schedule push notifications in the Fitrockr Research & Control Center. By enabling push notifications via its API, Fitrockr allows researchers to programmatically manage push notifications from their third party systems or algorithms.
What’s New in the API?
The Fitrockr API now supports the following notification functionalities:
➡️ Create notifications
➡️ Send notifications
➡️ Update notifications
➡️ Delete notifications
Benefits for Customers
By enabling API push notifications, researchers can programmatically manage push notifications from their backend. Own algorithms can be applied to the wearable data retrieved through Fitrockr and push notifications dynamically triggered.
For instance, if a researcher identifies data patterns for an upcoming epileptic seizure, an automated push notification could be sent.
The new feature is a free upgrade for all API subscriptions.
