Project Description & Objectives
The project AI-Refit AI-Refit developed an innovative prototype of a digital care centre for (i) a playful AI- and sensor-enabled assessment of mental health and (ii) adaptively engaging into activities to prevent from depressive symptoms, indication of anxiety and stress levels, to reinforce resilience and to promote self-efficacy of the individual, based on wearables (Garmin vivosmart and Tablets with eye-tracking analytics). The project performed an RCT study that successfully resulted in the provision of several digital biomarkers for resilience estimation, mental strain, perceived stress and sleep quality based on the digital biosignal sensors using by Garmin and Fitrockr data collection.
Data Collection Process
Participants were recruited using digital platforms, and wearables were distributed and recollected in workshops at specific locations. Participants used the Garmin device day and night for 2 months.
Fitrockr Utilization
We used the Fitrockr platform to collect within an RCT-study numerous lines of wearable sensor data at the same time and to get an overview on the results. Used functions were “export” and “data dump”.
