The Fitrockr & Garmin Health grant is supporting innovative use of our data and ecosystem to researchers in selected countries.

Application Requirements

Eligible Research Studies

For this grant, we invite researchers that focus on one or more of the following biomarker categories in their research study:
– Category 1: Skin Temperature 
– Category 2: Enhanced BBI
– Category 3: Stress & Body Battery

Eligible Researchers

Postgrads, PhD, Postdocs and Senior Researchers who:

  • plan or have a research study that utilizes health data from wearable devices.  
  • are working at a university or research institution.

Timing & Deadlines

Application deadline: Sep 30, 2024

Grant decision: Oct 31, 2024 

Study start: Nov 1, 2024 – Feb 28, 2025

Data collection timeframe: up to 3 months

Application Requirements

  • Abstract of planned project / study (max. 500 words)
  • Personal introduction (max. 200 words)
  • CV incl. publication list

Selection Criteria

  • Quality, feasibility, innovation and goals of the proposed project
  • How the grant will support the project
  • Scientific merit
  • Applicant’s expertise and capability to execute the study
