How to get GPS data
GPS data can be obtained via the Fitrockr platform. Most wearables record GPS data during recorded activities. This information can be accessed when downloading the detailed activity data export at ANALYZE > ACTIVITIES.
Please note that wearables do not record 24/7 GPS data. To save battery life, wearables only activate GPS recording during recorded activity types that include location information (e.g. running activity).
A 24/7 GPS recoding can only be achieved via a dedicated GPS recording device or via smartphone GPS recording.
