Use the Fitrockr Hub app as a Participant (single-sync)
Important Information
- The Fitrockr Hub app does not work in parallel to the Garmin Connect app. You need to remove Garmin Connect from your smartphone if you installed it before.
- Garmin device cannot be paired with any other smartphone or tablet. If you paired it with a smartphone before or with Garmin Connect, you need to either remove Bluetooth connections from the smartphone’s settings or conduct a factory reset of your Garmin device. Tip: Google “factory reset {your Garmin device model}” and you will find instructions on how to conduct a factory reset.
Android Version Instructions

(1) download the “Fitrockr Hub” app from the Google Play Store. Do not mistakenly download the “Fitrockr” app. You need the “Fitrockr Hub” app.
(2) launch the app
(3) scan the QR code or enter join code that you have received

(4) depending on configuration, you will be asked to provide further information

(5) select your Garmin device.
If your Garmin device is not displayed on the screen, check the trouble shooting guide at https://www.fitrockr.com/help-center/fitrockr-hub-app-trouble-shooting

(6) follow pairing instructions

(7) after successful pairing, Garmin device can be synchronised by launching the Fitrockr Hub app and clicking on “Sync Device” (if device does not automatically start syncing when Fitrockr Hub app gets launched).
(8) sync the Garmin device once before you start collecting data. This will apply all necessary configurations to the Garmin device.

- Sync the Garmin device one time before you start collecting data.
iOS Version Instructions
(1) download the “Fitrockr Hub” app from the Apple App Store. Do not mistakenly download the “Fitrockr” app. You need the “Fitrockr Hub” app.
(2) launch the app
(3) scan the QR code or enter join code that you have received

(4) depending on configuration, you will be asked to provide further information

(5) click on “Start Pairing”.

(6) follow pairing instructions

(7) after successful pairing, go to “Sync data” and sync your device.

(8) after the initial sync is completed, go to “Settings” and click “Update device settings” to retrieve the latest device settings.

(9) go back to “Sync data” and click “Sync Garmin Device” to sync your device again. This step should be done regularly (e.g. once a day).
