What data is stored and processed at a Fitness Challenge?
Fitrockr can import hundreds of different fitness and health data types from connected wearable devices. However, not all of these data types are relevant to the Fitness Challenge. In accordance with the principle of data minimization, Fitrockr will limit the data collected and processed to only those data types that are necessary and relevant for the Fitness Challenge use case.
This includes:
- Basic identification data (first name, last name);
- Contact information (email address);
- Wearable fitness data, including calories; steps; distance; floors; metersAscended; metersDescended; recorded activities/workouts, activity minutes
- Location data, to the extent incidentally included in wearable activity records (e.g., GPS data recorded during running activities).
